Smallholder dairy farmers dominate the livestock industry with an estimated 300,000 registered farms and of this; more than 70,000 people depend solely on dairy as their primary source of income. Ornamantal fish farming Projects

Ornamental fish farming is an interesting & profitable business due to the high demand of the general public and export market and the ease to do it at the household level. But at a commercial level fish rearing is a risky operation and for better results, it has to carry on continuous careful activities with full attention since the entire process is involving with live specimens.

Green environmental Projects

Sri Lanka imports about 50 million metric tons of polyethylene annually. About 30% of those quantities are exported through various products and about 40% are recycled. But, about 30% is added to our environment. It has been found that various chemical agents in lunch sheets used as food preservatives can cause neurological conditions. Sri Lanka has the technology to do biodegradable polythene production and the method is widely used in other countries. Since 2016, we have been producing and introducing to the local market biodegradable lunch sheets and shopping bags by using local potatoes, corn, and vegetable oil. When biodegradable lunch sheets and shopping bags are added to the environment, they decompose in 4-6 months and add to the environment. They can be reused as organic fertilizer. Therefore, we want to encourage people to take action to prevent further harm to the environment from single-use plastics.
